IHHS Academy was founded by Late. Kamleshwari Devi in the memory of her brother Dr. Surendra Pd. Sah on 18th Feb. 2005 for educational, social, scientific and cultural development of Koshi region. This school is conducted by Dr. Surendra Babu Memorial Society formed under the society registration act,1860. Rosy Devi,Late Kamleshwari Devi’s daughter-in-law is the Chairperson of the society.
IHHS Academy was inaugurated by Ex. Central Minister Hon’ble Shahnawaz Hussian together with Hon’ble Pradip Singh, M.P. Araria, Hon’ble Laxmi Mehta, Ex-M.L.A. Forbesganj, Hon’ble Janardan Yadav, Ex-M.L.A. Narpatganj, Hon’ble Muralidhar Mandal, Ex-M.L.A. Sixty-cum- Sachetak Bihar Vidhan Sabha.
This academy situated at the outskirt of India and Nepal has emerged as a pride of Koshi Zone in the field of secondary education. The students from Madhepura, Saharsa, Birpur, Narpatganj, Raniganj, Bhargama Chhatapur come here to receive education.
We are dedicated to provide quality education. Our main objective is to make the students self-reliant, self-dependent and responsible citizen of the country.
This academy maintains different co-curricular activities regarding scout-guide training, yoga, music, dance, quiz, debate, etc. to boost up the potential of the students. We organize science fair time to time in order to enhance their scientific attitude, so that our students can do some real experiments instead of mere display.
We educate the students with a difference and try our level best to make our students efficient in facing competitive examinations.
